Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Breluxe Academy of Beauty & Aesthetics.
Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a training course with us. By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms, subject to your statutory rights.
1. Course Applications & Entry Requirements
Before booking a course, students must review the entry requirements and prerequisites for their chosen training.
A good general standard of education is essential, and students must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
It is the student's responsibility to ensure they meet the entry requirements and that their chosen course is suitable for their individual needs, existing qualifications and career goals.
Students must also confirm with their intended insurance provider that their qualifications meet the relevant requirements for insurance cover.
Breluxe Academy of Beauty & Aesthetics cannot guarantee that insurance cover will be provided following completion of any course.
2. Course Bookings & Payments
To apply for a place on a course, applicants must contact Breluxe Academy of Beauty & Aesthetics or speak directly with a member of the teaching team.
A full payment or deposit, including any applicable booking fee, must be received before a course place can be confirmed.
Payments can be made by bank transfer (BACS), and all payments must be received and cleared before the booking is finalised.
Once payment has been confirmed, students will receive a booking confirmation letter and, where applicable, their training manual by email.
Course places are limited and may be in high demand. Early booking is recommended to secure your preferred training date.
3. Course Fees & Inclusions
Course fees include tuition, training materials, resources and electronic training manuals, where applicable to the chosen course and the requirements of Harley CPD Accreditation.
Any additional costs, including reassessment fees or additional tuition, will be communicated to students where applicable.
4. Attendance & Punctuality
Students are expected to attend all scheduled training sessions and assessments and arrive on time.
If a student misses a lesson, assessment or scheduled training session, additional training may be required before they can progress.
A charge of £50 may apply for each missed session, subject to applicable consumer law.
Additional one-to-one tuition may be required to help students catch up on missed training. Any applicable tuition fees will be communicated separately.
Where an assessment is missed, an additional assessment fee may apply.
At the Academy's discretion, students may be offered a place on a later course date, subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.
For information about cancellations, transfers and refunds, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
5. Student Conduct, Health & Safety
All students must follow the Academy's policies and procedures relating to health and safety, security and professional conduct.
Students are expected to behave respectfully and professionally towards tutors, fellow students, clients and anyone involved in the training environment.
Failure to follow the Academy's policies may result in appropriate action being taken, including removal from a training session where necessary for safety or the proper conduct of the course.
6. Course Suitability & Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for reviewing all relevant course information before booking.
This includes confirming:
-
They meet the entry requirements.
-
The course is appropriate for their intended career path.
-
Their existing qualifications meet any relevant prerequisites.
-
Their intended insurance provider will accept their qualifications and training.
-
They are available to attend all scheduled training dates.
Breluxe Academy of Beauty & Aesthetics is happy to provide advice and guidance before booking. However, students remain responsible for ensuring that their chosen course meets their individual requirements.
7. Changes to Courses & Training Arrangements
The Academy may need to make changes to course dates, timetables, content or arrangements where unforeseen circumstances make this necessary.
We will endeavour to communicate any changes as soon as reasonably practicable and provide students with as much notice as possible.
Where a course is cancelled or rescheduled by the Academy, the arrangements outlined in our Returns & Refunds Policy will apply.
8. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions
By submitting an application and confirming a course booking, students acknowledge that they have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them, subject to their statutory rights.
These Terms & Conditions form part of the agreement between the student and Breluxe Academy of Beauty & Aesthetics in relation to their chosen course.
They supersede previous discussions or correspondence concerning the booking, except where a separate written agreement applies or applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies available to students under applicable law.

Returns & Refunds Policy
At Breluxe Academy of Beauty & Aesthetics, we understand that circumstances can change.
Please read our cancellation, refund and course transfer policy carefully before booking to ensure you understand the arrangements that apply to your training.
1. Deposits & Booking Fees
A full payment or deposit, including any applicable booking fee, must be received before a course place can be confirmed.
Deposits and booking fees are intended to secure a student's place and are generally non-refundable where permitted by applicable law.
Any amount retained following cancellation must be fair and reasonable, taking into account the circumstances of the cancellation and any losses incurred by the Academy.
This does not affect a student's statutory rights.
2. Course Cancellations
All course cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email.
Students wishing to cancel a booking must provide at least 14 days' notice before their scheduled course commencement date to be considered under the Academy's standard cancellation arrangements.
Cancellation requests received with less than 14 days' notice may not be eligible for a discretionary refund or transfer.
Any refund entitlement will be assessed in accordance with applicable consumer law, including any statutory cancellation rights that apply.
3. Course Transfers
Students wishing to transfer their booking to another course date must provide at least 14 days' notice before their original course commencement date.
Where sufficient notice is provided, course fees may be transferred to an alternative training date, subject to availability.
A £50 administration fee will apply to approved transfers, where reasonable and legally permitted.
Alternative dates cannot be guaranteed, particularly where the requested course is fully booked.
Requests received with less than 14 days' notice will be considered at the Academy's discretion.
All course transfer requests must be submitted in writing by email.
4. Missed Sessions & Non-Attendance
Students are expected to attend all scheduled training sessions and assessments.
Failure to attend a course, lesson or assessment, or failure to complete a course, will not normally entitle a student to a discretionary refund.
A £50 charge may apply to each missed session, subject to applicable consumer law.
Where additional one-to-one tuition or reassessment is required, additional fees may apply. These will be communicated to students before the additional training or assessment is arranged.
At the Academy's discretion, students may be offered an alternative training date, subject to availability and any applicable fees.
Nothing in this section affects a student's statutory rights.
5. Courses Cancelled or Rescheduled by the Academy
Breluxe Academy of Beauty & Aesthetics reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a course where unforeseen circumstances make this necessary.
Where a course is cancelled or rescheduled by the Academy, students will be offered an alternative training date.
If the alternative date is unsuitable, students will be entitled to a refund of the fees paid for the affected course, in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
We will endeavour to provide as much notice as reasonably possible of any changes.
